Call to first-time SOS artists:
Exhibit your work in the Inside-OUT Gallery

If you are participating in SOS for the first time this year, the Somerville Arts Council's Inside-OUT Gallery would like to display your work. The Inside-OUT Gallery is located in the windows of the Davis Square CVS, and is seen by thousands of passersby every day.

Visit this page for information on how to submit your work to this juried show. Submission deadline is Thursday, March 5.

SOS Talk #3: The Price is Right, or:
How Much Will you Pay me for This Banana?

How do you price your work? How does value accrue to art, and fall away from it? Come to the third in a series of FREE SOS Talks for a wide-ranging discussion of this topic, from the 17th century to the current day.

This event will feature arts marketing specialist Jesa Damora and art writer, critic, and artist Franklin Einspruch. It will take place on Wednesday, March 11 at 7 pm at The Nave Gallery, 155 Powder House Boulevard. For more information, please visit this page.

Artists and Designers Wanted for SOS Fashion Show

The SOS 2015 fashion show, Beyond the Pattern, invites all Somerville clothing and wearable art designers to participate. This live runway show will take place on Thursday, April 30, and the next planning meeting will be Wednesday, March 18 at 7 pm at the Armory, 191 Highland Ave. For full information on how to participate and submit your work, please visit this page.
