Visit over 300 artists in over 100 venues who open their homes and studios for the Twelfth Annual Somerville Open Studios Event on Saturday, May 1 and Sunday, May 2, 2010 from noon to 6 pm. During this free showcase for the arts, mid-career and emerging artists working across a broad spectrum of fine art styles and craft media &ndash will exhibit and sell their work to the public.

Volunteers Needed
SOS is entirely dependent on individuals--artist and non-artist alike--who have chosen to be active in the Somerville arts community by volunteering their time and skills. SOS could not happen without a large collective effort that is largely invisible to many participating artists. Curious about how the event comes about? Want to be involved in planning and improving SOS? Just use the "enter your email address" box above. Even if you are already on our mailing list, you can still use this box to change your mailing preferences to include volunteering. You'll then be notified of monthly planning meetings and other opportunities to get involved.

SOS 2010 Artists' Choice Exhibit
Details have been posted about the Artists' Choice museum show at the Somerville Museum. Member artists are encouraged to participate in this show.
SOS 2010 Kick Off Recap
Interested member artists and a few supportive non-artists came together for the Kick Off Event at the Washington Street Art Center on November 12. Thanks to all those who attended and especially to those volunteering their time to help plan SOS 2010.
