What the drawings might be about.
Materials: vellum and mylar as a base,sumi ink
and pastels as the mediums.

I love the feel of my hand in mark making and using swashes of color. Melody, rhythm,harmony and dissonance have their place, as if I could hear the drawing and see the underlying music. it is a dance and a dialogue between hard, soft, and gradations of those spaces. There seems to be an ongoing narrative, obscured and private. Iwant clarityand I want things veiled.

What the viewer brings is part of the piece, connection,dialogue or a turning away.
