The drawings cover a range of subjects and methods while keeping to a consistent format. I usually start with a figurative image, which the viewer may or may not discover while looking at the drawing. Most of my drawings combine pastel and charcoal, sometimes using a file to grate charcoal powder on the paper, which I then work with a brush.
