Artist Statement

Hi. My name is Jen.

Iím one of the founders of Arbalest Press, a first-of-its-kind printing arts collaborative in Boston, dedicated to teaching letterpress printing and book arts. We offer an array of stationery and fine art prints created using traditional typesetting, lead forms and hand carved images, as well as processes that marry digital design and traditional printing techniques. Our stationery lines represent the viewpoints of our artists, resulting in a collection of products popular with people who love sending memorable greetings and correspondence.

Follow us on Facebook to see examples of our work and to see whatís going on in the studio.

In addition to printing at Arbalest Press, I am the owner and artist behind just enough nonsense, a home-based craft business. I make original handcrafted items using a variety of materials and techniques.
