Three Graces Designs began in October 2006, when my compulsion to create jewelry out-paced the number of friends and family I could make gifts for. I had been beading for years but when I discovered metal smithing at the Cambridge Center for Adult Education, my jewelry-making hobby quickly turned into a passion.
I strive to create fresh, contemporary designs of sterling silver, pearls and natural stones. My hand-forged silver pieces incorporate elements of nature, particularly spirals and botanicals. Yet my tendency toward geometric patterns as well as matte and oxidized finishes lend my work a distinctly modern and urban vibe.
When not in the studio, I work as a consultant on affordable housing and community development projects. Besides jewelry, my other true love is hanging with my ten nieces and nephews.
